Types of side effects:

All side effects from Testosterone Propionate occur due to exceeding the recommended doses or personal intolerance to the drug. For any pharmacology, it is important to have a responsible approach. After all, the appearance of side effects often indicates the presence of violations in the body. Here are several more common side-effects;

  • Appearance of acne on the body;
  • Aggression & irritability;
  • Loss of hair on the head;
  • Redness & pain at the injection site;
  • Appearance of hair on the back.

The side effects we listed above will vary from person to person. Doses of Test Prop like any other steroid, will affect each user differently. Side effects that are felt by one man, may not be felt by another. Key factors such as age, level of fitness/activity, overall health, diet and training will play a role in the risk of such side effects.

Dealing with side-effects:

It is very useful for athletes to apply PCT drugs to normalize the work of the kidneys, liver and other organs. After stopping the cycle, it is recommended to contact a specialist for a detailed analysis of the state of the body. Not all steroid users talk to their doctor about steroid use or get tests done after a steroid cycle to see where their levels stand. From years of steroid cycling, those more advanced or experienced users can tell on their own, what they need to do in order to minimize or eliminate unwanted side effects. This is usually not the case for beginners. It simply takes trial and error and experience to figure out how your body will respond.

  1. I’ve used Testosterone propionate in the past and noticed pain at the injection site. Is this common and is there anything I could to avoid painful injections in the future?

  2. With injections of Testosterone propionate, it is common to experience pain at the injection site. There are a number of reasons users get pain after injecting. Testosterone propionate or for that matter any short ester being propionate or acetate users experience pain because the crystals are harder and when oil/solvents are absorbed by the body some crystals are left behind. The short esters have crystals with higher melting points. Pain is also caused by purchasing low-grade gear from an unreputable source or lab. Tip: Pain in the first five to fifteen hours is usually caused by heavy solvents (meaning more alcohol used to break it down). Pain after the first day into the second day is caused by crystallization. A good way to avoid painful injections of propionate is to inject less milligrams. For example, let’s say your taking 100mg of propionate EOD, the injection will hurt more if the 100mg is given in one injection. It’s better to take break it into two injections at 50mg each. Also, mix it with another oil-based gear to thin out the propionate. This should help lessen the pain. Either way, if you are going to run this, getting used to the pain is your best option.

  3. I’ve been searching for a good article and came across your blog, I just finished my cycle using Testosterone Propionate and I also take creatine within my cycle, but I am not sure why I suddenly noticed that my hair is falling out. Is this a normal reaction?

  4. I had never experienced that before when I ran my Testosterone Propionate cycle, but I’ve heard that there are some who have had that reaction, but it is because of their genetics. Better to have a test with a dermatologist to advise what’s the best treatment for you. Testosterone usually has that effect only if you are prone to hair loss.

  5. I am curious that if I run 100mg of Test Prop twice a week, would this be more beneficial to decrease the risk of hair loss, than if I ran 200mg of Sustanon once a week? I wonder if the smaller short estered dosages would be more beneficial to decrease the chance, than if I run a mix of long and short esters.

  6. Hair loss is usually caused by DHT blocking the hair follicles, so using the same dosage but split between long and short esters would not make much of a difference. If anything, using Sustanon may make the problem worse due to the active substance being in the blood stream for longer. Trying to reduce your stress levels (cortisol) along with some OTC supplements for hair loss may help to fix your problem.
